Re: Vallejo durability on primer?
Hi MF! Your buddy Jammies here. I'll chime in with my two cents. Just think of it as a downpayment on the debt I awe you for all of your contributions to our hobby. I still use your decals for my X-wing minis :) I am currently a big fan of Vallejo. I have used the Model Master line for my brush pain...

Warpigs Grey Wash or best substitute
On the SSM main page we have a fantastic build of the Blockade Runner, and in it the author used Warpigs Brand Grey Wash. I would love to try that product, but I cannot find it anywhere. My question is this (and I couldn't find it in the sticky): Where can I buy Warpigs Grey Wash? Or, does anyone ha...

Quick Q: Is this a metalic paint or no?
Not near a store that carries acryl paints-- I have to do my shopping on-line.
Can anyone let me know if Testors Teal is a metalic paint or not?
http://www.testors.com/products/136717
(I hope not)
THANKS!

(did a search on the site, as well as Google and didn't find my answer. This was the thread closest to my question. Apologies if it has been answered a zillion times.) Question. Can you spray Testors MM Acrylic over a coat of Tamiya rattlecan paint (I believe the rattlecan is a lacquer)? I have a la...

Sharpie Markers for Pre-shading?
Is this a good idea?
It seems like it to me, for those small 1/144 and 1/72 kits. Just marker up the panel lines, let dry, and spray on the base coats.
I'm guessing though, there is a reason why no one does this.
THANKS

Flickering Christmas Lights? Anyone?
Hi Gang! Thanks for your help! I'm looking for little, battery powered, flickering, mini christmas lights. I have looked, and found several cheep non-flickering lights. I was just wondering if anyone has seen little flickering lights? They would really make my encampment diorama come alive (little c...
