I use it all the time and have had great results. The only problem with it is scribing lines. Its nearly impossible as there are often airbubbles under the surface which make the lines go croocked when scribing. So I tend not to use it on areas that require scribing

i'm watching this on ebay and i'm not sure if it is suitable for degassing silicone rubber...

I've searched the net for the processes involved in degassing silicone rubber with no real luck. I basically wanted to know:- -what is degassing -how is it done -what equipment is needed -why it should be done as opposed to simply pouring the rubber over the kit master.
