Micro Krystal Klear works great! Use it for creating 1/72 scale windows. Dries as the name suggests: Crystal Clear!
I should think for small scale portholes, it should be great.

Best filler for resin
Hello. I looked through the forum, and just wanted to know what is the best filler material for filling resin pinholes?
I tried white Squadron putty mixed with acetone, CA glue and Mr. Surfacer 500. All have their weaknesses.
Any thoughts or opinions would be most helpful.

do a test with both white and silver. See which looks best for your subject. For big lights, I think white will. Testors Model Master Chrome is my go-to for this purpose. Realistic lights
What color paint should you use if you are trying to replicate "lights"?
I just bought the 1/1400 PNT NX-01 and it is solid resin, so no lighting is possible.
