Iveverything tried using those boards I understand how a 555 timer works for examale and know what to connect to what pin. But I have no means or skill to design a board and use it. I ate muted many years ago to solder my own together. Using a 9 volt battery ( which the 555 should have been able to ...

Picking a power supply

I am building a romulan warbird with two Green ish LEDs, and there will be at least three white LEDs. I do have experience with electronics. But not from a design stand point. How do I know, how big of a supply I will need? Should they all be in series or parallel? They do not have any paperwork with...

It won't work with out wiring, the LED needs a direct current. It won't work to induce a current through coils you need AC current. Then a few diodes in the model. Possiable to do but not easy

A puzzling 555 strobe question

I built a 555strobe circuit, it's not the prettiest. By that I mean it's not on a PCB, I do not have the means nor the skill to design and make one. How ever using a slot made to fit a 555 chip. I soldered everything together. Tested it and it worked. Now that was a few months ago, I wired it up aga...

Has anyone heard of ic touch?

They are a store out of Hong Kong and I'm not sure if it's too good to be true, they sell electronic components for cheap, ie: 900 LEDs in different sizes and shapes for about $25 before shipping.

I'm nervous to order from them and nothing show up at my door

They don't shut down in warp, they go into an idle/stand by mode. So there is no response delay

Don't forget, that the LED strip has resistors built into it. You may be putting to much resistance into the circuit especially if the LEDs each have one resistor per light.
