Re: Clear parts..tint first, then apply Future?
I tried a a couple of variations. First up was mixing Tamiya Smoke and Future and airbrushing. I got nice coverage, but the tint was too light, for my taste. Also, the smoke tended to gum up at the bottom of a sealed mixing jar, leaving reapplication out of the question. Onto stripping with my trust...

Clear parts..tint first, then apply Future?
Working on the Moebius Dark knight Tumbler, and want to paint the windows with Tamiya X-15 Smoke. However, I want to try using Future Floor Wax/Polish to "smooth out" the distortion inherent in clear parts. So, do I apply Future/Smoke/Future? Or is it just Smoke/Future?

Waste paint...what do you do with it?
After several weeks of airbrushing, I tend to have a small coffee can's worth of paint waste. Whether its the stuff that I've blown thru my airbrush to clean it, or paint trays that I've washed the dried paint out of, it collects. How do you dispose of it?

Re: Applying strip styrene to cylinders - evenly!
Well, the angle iron stuff didn't work out as well as I'd hoped. Manipulating the iron, the pencil, and the missile against the stop was simple too much. I found some foil tape at Michael's and wrapped that around the missile at each level I needed a ring. It's worked tolerably well. Lesson learned....

Re: Applying strip styrene to cylinders - evenly!
I took one look at the Estes tool (https://www.amazon.com/Estes-302227-Tube-Marking-Guide/dp/B0006N6T5G/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1526098166&sr=8-1-fkmr0&keywords=EDSTES+TUBE+%26+FIN+MARKING+GUIDE), and thought "angled aluminum stock". I grabbed a piece from the local big bo...

Applying strip styrene to cylinders - evenly!
Hey everyone! Long time, first time. I'm building the US/USSR Missile set from Revell/Monogram for a former military buddy. His current job is, oddly enough, is monitoring the destruction of the former USSR missiles (maybe just the triggering mechanisms?). Anywho, he thought it would be cool to have...
