Re: Dr Mikes, Mercury, or Flexy?
And yes, I've emptied a bottle of Mercury. Shocked me when I realized the reason I wasn't getting glue out of it was not because of it turning to tar or the nozzle clogging but because there was no more glue. I have to agree with you here. I just finished a bottle of Mercury and I've never been abl...

Dr Mikes, Mercury, or Flexy?
Putting together Forgeworld resin models and looking for a good grade of CA glue, not that cheap rebottled stuff you can find in all the hobby stores. Anyone used Dr Mikes, Mercury Adhesives, or Flexy? I've heard Dr Mikes stuff has been around for years. Does anyone have experience with these brands...

"hotness" of plastic glues?
I understand some of the liquid glues for plastic are hotter than others and melt plastic at a faster rate. Trying to find a comparison of Plastiweld, Tenax, etc. I am trying to find a brand that is not so hot as I am discovering my seams are forming a valley when I apply the liquid weld glue. I thi...

Using putty to fill gaps and seams
Hello, I am trying to find the best, i.e. easiest ways to fit gaps and seams. This is my experience. Tried several and Aves seems to be the best so far. I tried Vallejo, Perfect Plastic Putty, 3M Super Red, Aves. https://i.imgur.com/i9FZLk0m.jpg?1 Found the Vallejo and Perfect Plastic Putty (PPP) wa...

Sprue cutters
Hope this is the right forum to ask this question...
Has anyone used both the tamiya 74035 and the tamiya 74001 cutter? If so, which one do you prefer?
Thanks!

Looking for small files
Hello all, I am putting together small 28mm plastic figures. Problem is that I am having trouble finding small thin files (800+ grit) for sanding down flash. I usually use my Exacto to scrape the flash, however, I usually need a file to sand it smooth. I hate building my own using popsicle sticks (t...
