I'm going to have to drop out of the running.
Things have gotten crazy busy at work lately, and I'm going to be spending a lot of time there for a while.
On the upside of that though, I have a new 3D printer at work to have fun with.

You could go with the HIS which is high impact styrene, or you could go with GP which is general purpose styrene. The general purpose styrene should be more than sufficient for what you need. I use apple barrel paints for all my models now. Have been for several years now. When airbrushing with them I use windshield washer fluid with good results. Occasionally, I use future, but the washer fluid works well. Most of the time I use a 50/50 mixture, but some colors seem to need to be thinne...
