Thank you Kenny, Sorry for the late reply have been busy with a number of issues and haven't been here as often as I once was. with the use of this product. Hypothetically if you were to use a SA product, which in time becomes brittle and becomes unstable; if you use this product to hold a model part in place, then follow it up with other longer lasting adhesive Testors, Tamiya or other product, would there be any benefit t...

3 mm LED lights Series or Parallel
I'm wiring a number of 3 mm LEDs and I'm wondering if I will need resistors for 3 plus LEDs? As I understand it when wiring a number of LEDS on the same circuit resistors are not needed. Is this true or false? I have an understanding how to wiring them in Parallel and Series, I just don't know of th...

Re: Superglue
I hope that this is the correct place to post this reply While working on my 1/1000 scale USS Enterprise - I was wiring the Nacelles and used Super Glue for the wires through the Nacelle Pylons. It did not turn out very well. I had to strip the wires out and sand our the Super Glue, then I needed to...

Re: LEDs & Other Low voltage, Low power lighting
I ordered these LEDs hoping I could avoid having to use a 555 Timer Chip, something I hoped to avoid. Sadly this in not the case. I now have to go into the electronic field I hoped to shy away from. I don't fear it as I consider it as a learning experience that will help me in the future with other ...

What if you just want to scan the decals from the AMT kits and print them out on decal paper? Can I do that, and what kind of paper should I use? Have you been to this site yet? I found this site just the other day when reading about not being able to find decals for Star Trek TOS. I did a search a...

The big issue is where to get 16x20 inch decal paper. Oh and inking up a printer this size can run 4 figures. If you have not found this site yet I found this just the other day searching for printing decals that were not able to be found. I'm sure someone else has mentioned this before http://www....

Re: LEDs & Other Low voltage, Low power lighting
I just received them in the mail today and they work great. My problem is the Red and Green LEDs that Blink/Flash are too fast. I want to slow them down so they Blink/Flash 4 to 6 times a minute rather than off and on, which is much faster than I expected. I'm wondering if I need to restrict the flo...

Re: How do I strip WG28 wire?
I don't know if this issue has been resolved, Does the heat from the Soldering Iron melt the insulation from the wire. I have some thin with and when I place the iron on to it I come up with a clean wire. Just clean the iron with a sponge after each time you clean or strip the wire.

Re: conductive paint?
I have heard that using Magnet Wire and SMD would be a option where you might want to consider for you lighting process of these tight places. I have seen where using Aluminum Foil to light the areas of which you're speaking of to reflect the light to the desired area - Keep in mind, these options i...

There's also Madman Lighting or rolling your own with a microprossessor like an Arduino . I have no background in electronics, but I was able to finish my lighted Revell Cylon Raider last night. In order to tackle an Enterprise, I am going to forgo an expensive Arduino and use a 556 timing chip ins...

Re: How do I strip WG28 wire?
This wire is extremely thin, however it is soft compared to magnet wire. Magnet wire breaks fairly easily, and I am not happy about that. I only used WG28 wire once, with an SMD I'd bought from HDA Modelworx. I had a very difficult time stripping it because the wire was too small for my regular wir...

Re: Power supply
I just ordered a number of supplies, LEDs and Power Supply. You may want to try HDA Model Works, they have a number of supplies that maybe just what you are looking for. I just spent $30.00 + on LEDs and yes a Power Supply. They have 9v and 12v

Re: Connecting power to the model
I can relate to you when reading your post. I too am learning on how to wire 555 Timers, I am building my first model where I'm using LEDs, SMDs. This will be my first experience actually wiring my own perfboard with resisters, power connector and switch. I have a number of videos that I have downlo...
