Cleaning old paint bottles?
I went through my old paints today and got rid of some that are dried in the bottle. Rather than just junk the bottles, does anyone have a good method for cleaning paint out of the bottles? I'm thinking a soak in lacquer thinner or other solvent would get them clean, but is there something less mess...

Glow-In-The-Dark paint for fiber optics /light pipes?
I'm building the Bandai Blockade Runner, and I'd like to do SOMETHING to give an impression that the engines are burning, but I'm not going to run LEDs for the engines. The engines are almost exactly 1/8", so I was going to use some clear Plastruct rod and cut plugs for each engine. I was tryin...

The specs say it should have plenty of...

For example, on a Viper I did, I had a Future clear coat, and then I used enamels for the black scorch marks. If I felt that it was too heavy, or in a bad place, I could wipe it off with some ...

The gap won't fill!!
Okay, I need to know if I have lost 27 years of modeling skills. I'm working on my first vinyl kit, Pegasus's Great White Shark. The head is molded separately from the body, and for some reason, I can't close the gap between the head and the body. I used super glue for the construction, but there wa...
