Re: Fluorescent Paints?
I believe that Testors still makes fluorescent glow-in-the-dark colors in their small, square glass jars that can be found at places like Hobby Lobby.

Re: Thoughts on Battery operated airbrushes?
I have two of them and they work great! One has the airbrush mounted to the compressor as a hand grip, the other has the compressor separate with a hose to the airbrush. I use the handheld compressor one strictly with acrylics, with the other one having an in-line moisture trap that I use for sprayi...

Re: 3d resin printer recomedations
I've had great luck with Elegoo Mars and Saturn printers, and am looking forward to the release of the Jupiter. But, I might wait on that one until they release the Jupiter 2. I would recommend that you determine the size of ships and bases you would like to print, then pick a printer that has the s...

Re: Vallejo durability on primer?
In my experience, I have found that acrylic paints do not have particularly good adhesion on bare surfaces, since they are not solvent-based. I always prefer to apply acrylics over a lacquer primer (like Tamiya Fine Surface Primer). The stong lacquer solvent "bites" into the surface of the...

Re: Drilling Really Tiny Holes?
For drilling tiny holes for small diameter fibers, I use the Tamiya Electric Handy Drill. It's a model kit that you assemble. The result is a slow-speed drill that is just right for the job. I had to order a chuck and a special set of collets for small bits from Amazon. A word of advice: don't put a...
