Why don't you try mixing the clear yellow and chrome silver prior to airbrushing? I'm thinking 1:1 ratio, or more silver to less clear yellow. The paint should be consistent when thoroughly mixed. I think it's easier than spraying silver, and then clear yellow. It's what I planned to do when I fini...

All right, well that brings us to a number of things. From the looks of things Mr. Super Clear is a laquer, so it should be good for an oil wash. But first and formost, you will need to get Mr. Super Clear in gloss, because a flat finihs will not do for washes or decal application, the glossy clear ...

Well, I have a question about your order, step 8, an oil wash? What would that be for weathering, or is that what you would use as a wash to bring out panel line (which would make step 5 redundant). Well I would follow that order, except you may want to seal after step 5 (panel lining) depending on ...

A spray bottle, like the ones you shoot windex out of? Or like a spray can, because you wont get a very fine mist at all with a spray bottle, like you can with a can. I use windex from the bottle to clean windows and stuff (okay...my mom does) and have seen the way those spray. You will pretty much ...

Yeah, those should work, Castrol has been mentioned in every thread about strippin acryl in CoM, (I dont use acrylics so I cant confirm), but I can tell you it works well on enamels (I paint using them). Theres a thread specifically about Castrol and it's magic cleaning properties right here . A sim...

Yeah, that is a tuffy. I suppose if nothing else, you could have all of the part a dark shade to maintain consistancy. I would actually like to see what Mr. bardrench mentioned, it would make for a cool and unique paintjob. But whata ever you do, please DO NOT , I repeat DO NOT do the retro yellow. :D

Can anyone write a review of the Iwata Revolution (BCR if at all possible, cause thats the one I want to get). Really, the only place I saw that had a good review was from a T-shirt airbrush forum, but it didnt mention too much about the a/b itself, and nothing about models. Also, for the puropuses ...
