TARS/CASE in 1/72 what size?

I'm building the Moebuis Ranger and I'm putting on a base depicting the water planet. I thought it would be cool to have a little CASE standing next to it. So how tall would he be?I was thinking about taking 4 plastic squares (Evergreen or the like) and gluing them together so it looks like he's wal...

Casting resin ??

I've always wanted to build a ship(the sailing kind) in water.
I was thinking about using a clear casting resin. I know it
generates heat when curing. Will it get hot enough to
melt the plastic hull? It would only be about an 8th inch
thick. I was looking at EasyCast Clear Casting Epoxy.
Thank you

Space Ranger is right. A glossy surface makes it easy to remove. What brand of mask are you using?

If you're looking for the Mr Color line (not the Aquieous)
You can find them here. Both are in the US and have good service.

I have a vinly stormtrooper kit I built years ago. I simply washed the vinly
and used Tamiya light gull gray as a primer and painted Tamiya white over that. I must have built that kit over ten years ago. It still looks good today.

I've never washed a plastic kit. Before I paint a model I will wipe it down with a cotton ball and rubbing alcohol, just to get the oils from my fingers off.

At a Tamiya Con one year I saw a demonstration. The guy used rubber cement thinned with Bestine. Seemed to work OK.

I have the testors version. I love it. very little smell and no fumes floatting around the room. I sure this will do the same.

I recently discovered Gator Glue. That stuff is awesome. It dries a little slower than ca giving you more working time. You can find it here.
