I have found thrugh trial and error that what works is KRYLON FIXATIVE SPRAY form Wal Mart. You have to spray light coats and top off with future.This stuff the artists use to seal different types of artwork.It costs $ 7.99 a can and will do several projects.Thanks.

What can use to seal sharpie markers?
I used some sharpies on a project and i was wonderin what to seal them with that wont make it bleed and go funky. Would future work? If not what can i use. thanks.

Thanks for the information on the frog tape,I genereally use 3m tape products.And on certaion instances i use Taymi painters tape for masking.I also use general yellow masking tape.For tape residue i use three things RUBBING ALCOHOL,GOOF OFF, WD-40.There is probable others that will remove tape crud...

Both glues are good,but watch out though,some glues will attack styrene.I use Gorrilla glue alot for high stress joins where i won't a good joint.Baically the Gorilla glue is tough stuff and can't be beat.I keep alot of different glues on hand for different jobs,you have to experiment to find out wh...

All paints and thinners have a smell,some are worst than others.Your best bet is to build or buy a paint booth for overspray and fumes.If you have a good place to paint,good ventalation is key.Also in vest in a good paint mask from the hardware store or automotive store to not breathe in the fumes. ...

Spent the day modeling,playing around with the Finger Nail Glue.IT works just like superglue.I will tell you its bit ruiny with little control coming out of the little tubes.It sets up fast and it works useing accelators to make it rock hard and sets up faster. I have applied future with a spray bottle,what you need is a small spray bottle made for cleaning eye glasses.You can get them at the dollar store,wal-mart,or cvs pharmacy.They don't cost much i have aton because i use them alot for my glasses,when the bottles empty i wash out and reuse in my modeli...

I too swear by krylon products,in my opinion there the best. Have been using for years. I have never really tried anything else. I use the red,black,grey, and white primers. For really tough jobs that require putty and sanding i use automotive sandable primers. For odd ball hobby jobs once in awhile...
