Haven't had that problem yet. Just bought and tried the aerosol kicker. Personally I'm not happy with it. You just want a little spurt and you get a very wastful spray that covers half the model. Wish I could be more help here, sorry

fill it with styrene or putty?

I have a panel on my ship that didn't line upright. now I have a dent about 3/16 deep and 1/2" long. Should I fill with styrene and skim with putty or just fill with putty? Because of the size of dent I'm not sure. What do yall think?

If your really strapped form cash ck out the local brake shop. they replace wheel seals every time they repack or replace wheel bearings. The wheel seals have various size springs in them. a little brakekleen and you have all the springs you need in different sizes for free.

Just tried some easy-off on an old sabre jet with about 8 coats of paint, worked great. I used an old baking tray to hold the parts. you know the cheap ones made out of aluminum. The easy-off ate the tray but the model is okie-dokie

Laquer is very agresive to other paints and decals. dual gloss coats and let it set 3 or 4 days if your in a hurry, a week is better. dullcote in multiple fine coats and let dry in between coats. humidity plays a big factor up here also. Are you using spray can or air brush? Check the finnishing for...

Are you refering to eggshell finish? This happens when you spray to far away from the model and paint dries before it hits the model. Check the railroad section of your hobby shop. I had won a door prize years back and it was a mold set for brick walls notched on the ends so you could build them up. lost it in a move about 10yrs ago. Can't remember the brand name though - damn the 70's.

What is the best type of glue to use for vinyl kits? It's been so long since I've built one that I don't remember what I used on my last one. Also, for a jungle ruins diorama, where can I find some jungle/forest vegetation? I've been looking for a supplies site, but no luck yet. Thanks for the help...

On the drive home - 10mins. for 5mls. seattle what can I say. Micro-sol softens the decal sheet right? and testors afects the surface of the model right? Can you use both to achieve a good fit or am I having one?

How much did you sloosh them with Microsol? I know sometimes you can wash the gum away on the back of the decal and although it may shape itself to the surface, when it dries it silvers and/or drops off. Ter-or and I were discussing this a couple of nights ago. A little diluted white glue applied w...
