Looking for sand
I'm building a 28mm diorama of wh40k space marines(converted poses) in a dessert scene. Can't seem to find any really fine sand. Tried etching sand and some others but no go. any help?

fill it with styrene or putty?
I have a panel on my ship that didn't line upright. now I have a dent about 3/16 deep and 1/2" long. Should I fill with styrene and skim with putty or just fill with putty? Because of the size of dent I'm not sure. What do yall think?

Laquer is very agresive to other paints and decals. dual gloss coats and let it set 3 or 4 days if your in a hurry, a week is better. dullcote in multiple fine coats and let dry in between coats. humidity plays a big factor up here also. Ive used microscale alot It's ok. After reading terrors bit on decals Microsol is the tits. Are you washing off the adhesive from the decal? I use very old decals given to me from other modelers and this becomes a problem. some of my decals are 20yrs old or better. terrors bit is way good read it. F...

What is the best type of glue to use for vinyl kits? It's been so long since I've built one that I don't remember what I used on my last one.
