Another question: I plan on using clear resin to fill these windows after being drilled; any tips to eliminate bubbles during the cure time? I am worried that is going to be tough to avoid.

I am working on a subject that has a ton of tiny rectangular windows on it that I would like to open up for lighting but I am not sure the best method to make consistant sized openings - any tips?
