Glueing hard shinny plastic?
I am trying to glue together a piece on a toy that is made from a hard shiny black plastic. I tried CA, epoxy and Tenax. No joy. Suggestions?

I saw this on another forum and thought it something I would have to try. For a seam filler a guy was using a UV cure product made for filling gaps on fake finger nails. Dries hard once subjected to UV and ready to be sanded. No fumes, dries in minutes, and shouldn't shrink. I also figure you have m...

One very important reason to use primer which I don't think was mentioned is that it helps to prevent a static charge that attracts dust and thus makes for a cleaner and smoother top coat.
