Thanks!
Thanks for all your help you gave me on this, the model is now complete and is looking great. I stumbled accross some lead that's used on joints on exterior roofs and used this to weight the model from the inside so now it's quite heavy. Next I'm going to be building the endo arm kit (bit terminator...

What to fill models with?
Hi all. I'm planning to add weight to my t-800 skull by filling the inside with something but I'm not sure what. I want it to be rather weighty so it feels alot more like a sculpture rather than a plastic kit. A human head weighs around 4.5kg (I think) what would be the best thing to fill the interi...

Thanks for that tony, I'll give that a shot. Had the idea or buying a set of bullet hit transfers, tracing the hit and then apply the outline to the skull with carbon paper which can then be filled in with the charcoal or pastel powder. All I need now is to remember where I saw the transfers. Thanks...

Non evasive weathering help needed
Hello. I've decided against 'chroming' my t-800 endoskeleton skull because I think it would look better beaten and damaged but what I need is some advice on how I would go about creating realistic bullet hit marks. A way that does not involve cutting holes or breaking the vinyl in any way. I also wa...

Thanks for all that Shinnentai, you've provided alot of useful information that is sure to help me... I'd like to put a picture up so you can see exactly what the skull looks like but I'm not sure how to do that here. You have been a great help and you've probably saved me from mucking it up! I'll p...

Construct then paint or paint then construct?
Hey. I'm about to start building a 1:1 vinyl T-800 endoskeleton skull and was having a thought..... Is it best to first stick all the parts together and then paint or paint the kit and then stick it together? I've just finished building ED209 from Robocop and I stuck that together first and then pai...

T-800 Endoskeleton skull
Thanks for the hints guy's... I'm glad you mentioned to first spray it with a gloss black base coat because I probably would have just went for a matt. I've just started modelling again and have just finished ED 209 from Robocop and I used a matt base on it so I'm glad you said about a gloss underco...

T-800 Endoskelton Skull Chroming help
Hi, hope someone can help... I am about to begin building a vinyl T-800 skull from Terminator and am wondering how I would go about achieving a good chrome finish. The chrome would need to be a spray can type as I don't have an air brush. Spraying it silver just won't do because as you know, the end...

Newbie needs help with where to start...
Hey there... I am new to modelling (I did some when I was younger but have recently started again) I am a huge Aliens fan and have recently aquired a Halcyon APC from the Aliens movie. Construction is finished and I am now moving on to painting the model, thing is, I don't really know where to start...
