Surround each half of the mold with a box or frame and fill it with plaster? Make sure to add some registration pins on the frame if you don't have them on the mold itself. If the mold is really whippy you might want to do this with the master inside to keep it from deforming. Just a suggestion... ...

yes they're 12v, and they have that resistor on the strip

thank's for the help and the information

not sure what I'm going to do with 10m (2 spools of 5m) of the strips though

as long as they all work... I shouldn't have to buy any for a while

Blender is what I use, it can load files from 3dMax, lightwave, and export into many diffrent file types, will also let you increase poly counts to smooth out your model I'm working on saving some money to do some 3D printing, I've found a 3D printer that you couild build yourself for just $1,225......
