It really depends on the weight of the finished model, weather or not you are running any wires thru it, and of course, aesthetics.

Check out my thread on Mike Salzo's half scale Galactica. I made my own decals and sealed with future. I also lay down future under the decal. Helps reduce silvering and helps it stick.

Try some Windex on a Q-tip.

If you can, wet sand the globs and runs. If the primer is sandable and you haven't covered up detail you want to see, it will work out well. As far as the future goes, sand it smooth and shot a slightly wet coat over the sanded parts.

I had already thinned the polly scale with a touch of windex and denatured alcohol. I then added some Tamiya white to lighten it.

Well, I did it. It worked well but coagulated a bit. I strained it and shot it without problems.

I have a grey Polly Scale and I want to lighten it with some white. I have Tamiya white. Are they compatible?

Just bought some Poly Scale Acrylic for $1 each at a clear out. It says to dilute with water for airbrushing. Anyone have any experience shooting it?

Why would you? It would melt. Just score the sheet with a sharp blade and snap it apart.
