Re: Tony W's Abridged Wonderfest 2024 Show Report

As usual Tony, your good photography saves me doing bad photography. Thanks. Though I did take underside photos of Scott Washington's CE3K UFOs, because they were awesome and hardly anyone takes underside photos. I must share those. They're still on my phone. Thanks, Ed. I appreciate your complimen...

Re: Who's going?

Now that I'm here at WF, here's my crazy prediction: this year Adam Savage shows up at WF, just as a regular attendee. Last year Norm from Tested came here to shoot video, and this year Fon Davis, his friend from ILM days, is one of the guests. The planets seem to be aligned. I didn't see Adam at t...

The wife and I are finalizing reservations the next two days and will be there. Any openings on an Iron modeler team? I have the bag of miscellaneous parts for the entry fee. We are REALLY looking forward to seeing everyone. Me too! I really, REALLY need a break from my students. And Won...

I read the first page and have bookmarked it. If I may be so bold, I found the color of the font to be uncomfortable to look at. Do what you want with that opinion. Hey, Thanks! Airbrushing 101

I just revamped and updated a very old article I originally wrote, (back in 2002).
I was surprised how much of my original "stuff" I wrote was still applicable today.

You can check it out by going here: https://www.scififantmodmadrealm.com/Ai ... 101-1.html

Happy reading!

Re: Fine Scale Modeler Photo Gallery

This was the third WF since it was cancelled in 2020, and it's been growing each year. Covid has definitely improved hobby sales, 'cause people needed something to do during all that downtime, and they rediscovered the fun they had when they were young (plus you have young people discovering it for...

Re: Fine Scale Modeler Photo Gallery

I;m not sure, but I think partly what's taking place is a rebound of the 2-year shutdown of the show, due to Covid. It'll be interesting to see if the next couple of years continue to see an upsurge in the attendance and model contest entry count, of if the numbers return back closer to the pre-Covi...

Good Reference Manual/Material for Starfury Docking Arm Unit

Hello, I'm looking for reference material, (preferably a manual) which details the particulars of the docking-arm-unit used for the Babylon 5 Starfuries. A recent visit to Amazon.com turned up a Babylon 5 Security Manual, along with a Babylon 5 (Role Playing Game) Ship Builder's Manual. I was wonder...
