Does anyone have recommendations for the best glowy or highly reflective paints for warp engines?
Many thanks,
Bob

Looking for a super quiet airbrush compressor
After 20+ years, my Kopykake Airmaster finally gave up the ghost. It was a pastry and baking compressor used to spray colors onto cakes, and it did a super job spraying models hooked up to my Paasche VL airbrush. I'm of a mind to get another, but wanted to ask if there's a better, super quiet altern...

Need a tough compass for scribing.
Hi all, i need a tough ,heavy duty compass for scribing purposes. I intend to use it to cut out a circular area around a TOS Enterprise bridge in order to use a drop in replacement I've made on Shapeways. Anyway, the compasses I currently own are great for light scribing, but not for serious scribin...

Thanks. I thought it might be a dry time issue, so I let these last ones dry for a couple of days before clearcoating them. Now, I'm wondering it isn't an ink issue. H-P changed their ink formula awhile back for newer printers, so maybe its an ink thing? This didn't happen on my old inkjet printer w...

Homemade decal clearcoating problem
Hi, all. I've got a homemade decal problem. I've printed out several of Carlos Zangrando's wonderful decals. They look great and my H-P inkjet printer prints them nicely. The problem is, when I spray a clearcoat on them they change color, usually from a nice grey (in the case of the Ent-B decals) to...

What type of ink did you use? If a laser printer, then did you spray a fixative on first? If an inkjet printer, then did you allow enough time for the ink to completely - and I mean completely - dry? I found that my inkjet inks ran even weeks after being printed. I believe they weren't dry completel...

In need of Uber Glue!
Hi guys,
A resin nacelle pylon on my Pioneer conversion keeps breaking, and no amount of superglue/CA will hold it. The slightest bend or handling snaps it off. Can anyone recommend a relatively fast acting glue for this? I'm wondering if a two part epoxy might be the way to go.
Thanks,
Robert
