Re: RPM or CFM?
CFM. RPM is just how fast it spins. CFM is how much air it moves. And air movement is what you need to vent. Revolutions Per Minute don't mean squat if it ain't moving the Cubic Feet per Minute.

Re: Questions about navigation lights on fighter jets
Forgot to mention that yes, they only activate during take off and landing, or when NOT in combat. During combat, they are turned off, and they use a different light system. Ever see those long, lime yellow/green strips?? Those are lights. https://qph.ec.quoracdn.net/main-qimg-3d62680426df5afeb3bc7c...

Should I use a thicker cement that I can spread evenly, or something else? Thin cement/glue is better overall. Without seeing the part, it's hard to tell. It might be keeping it a secret, that's fine. If you could show a pic, might be able to tell you more. Sometimes, with slight extra pressure, fl...

Tiny circut to blink a light??
He all,
Looking for the simplest design to run 1 LED and have it blink, powered by a button battery, with an on/off switch.
And I have a VERY tight space for all the parts: 3/8" x 3/8" x 1" with the LED at the top, and switch at the bottom.

Many factors: Size, configuration, geometry, parts assembly needs...abledog wrote:My main concern is that the sheet plastic I'm using is a bit on the thin side. How thin do you think I can get away with, so that the resin isn't too brittle?
Smaller parts can be thinner, and larger parts should be thicker.

You can save a lot of time and masking if you use aluminum muffler tape for the inside. It's opaque, and gives you the reflective interior to max the light. It comes in many sizes, and is self-adhesive.

Re: Resin Kits -- Recommend a Good Primer?
Answer The First: Just about ANY primer will work fine. It's more about preparing the resin surface for paint. Wash the resin parts in warm water and a mild soap (dish), as this will remove the silicone oils, along with any mold release used.. Then spray with your favourite primer. *I* personally pr...

Very true. But... Cool yes, but that's a little complicated than I need. I am looking at being able to resize the circle to precise (enough) dims by moving them out/inward together ( like this or something ), and spinning at probably no more than 10rpm or so. I'll have to get a few of the diodes and...

Thanks Ant. I thought I may have had to quite this entire forum when no one answered me instantly. :D So, I ONLY need a power source, and I should be good?? And you suggest the button batteries. Perfect if so. For the Circle Maker, the laser head or whatever it's called needs to spin. Hard to do wit...
