I have used just about everything, but electrical tape is the quickest and easiest way to secure wires inside a project.

Welcome! You could not have picked a better kit to light than the ERTL Defiant! The inside volume is huge. The DLM parts wer worth their weight in gold for turning that sows ear into a silk purse. If you sen me a PM with your e-mail address I will send you a lighting digram for the Defiant. Scott

I had the same issue with a bottle of Stainless Steel Alclad. I spoke to the owner at Nats and it turns out there was a problem with the paint. He gave me a free replacement right there! Send Alclad an e-mail telling him what's wrong with your project and see what he says, you might get a free bottle.

Future is an acrylic floor wax. That can be used as a gloss coat on models. I never really tried the stuff until recently. It really is great stuff. The key to using it is. Light coats and lower pressure when using an airbrush.

I'm wondering what kind of flat coat people use. I have used Testors acrylic flat coat for years. I sometimes get questionable results with it. yellowing, not looking flat, etc. so I was wondering what other options are out there. Thanks.

I'm planning a new project. I would like to light the ERTL Cardassian Galor class. I think i've got a handle on the lighting part. However the Galor has a lot of rectangular windows. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions on how I can get consistant windows.
