I didn't know Mr. Surfacer was acrylic!

I'm getting a vinyl kit in the mail soon and I'm looking for a recommendation for a good acrylic primer in a spray can. I don't have an airbrush or a place to use one, so I'm hitting a wall. I don't want the figure to melt!

Too bad that flatlite stuff only comes in big rolls, I only need about 3 or 4 inches worth. Maybe LEDs would be better after all, WarpeD is right, there is NO way you can see the ceiling in that thing which is a real shame if you ask me because it looks EXACTLY like the movie in there! Well, WarpeD just sold me one of those really nice Orion III spaceplanes, and with such a lovely interior it would be a shame NOT to light it. The problem lies in the fact that it must be modified to be lit, as it is amazingly not engineered to be. Any suggestions from anyone else who owns one?

How do you use it? where can I get it? Can it be cut to the desired shape/ size? UGH!
