Why not use one LED and a clear piece of styrene to internally refract the light?

Soak it in Simple Green (cleaner or automotive aisle at walmart). I've only used it on wargames minis, but it doesn't eat the metal or plastic ones but gets paint off quick (overnight).

I've been looking at the microstru.com webpage, specifically the #2501 Experimenter's Kit, the basic EL lamp assortment.

Now in the description it states that I can cut up to 6 lamps, will the one power supply include enough power/plugs to run all of these?
