Painting Head Ligths and Spot lights.
I am not sure how to paint head lights/spotlights. I recently picked up the Macross Destroid Defender. http://starshipmodeler.biz/shop/index.cfm/product/2034/172-destroid-defender-adr-04-mkx.cfm It has two spotlights on the chest and two on the knees. They are clear plastic, but I am not quite sure ...

How to add depth to large Scale monotone models?
How do you add depth to basically monotone large scale models like the TOS Cylon Basestar, TOS Battlestar Galactica, and SW Star Destroyers? I was thinking of working on my TOS Cylon Basestar but I was thinking of how to paint it but I am not sure how. They don’t have Aztec patterns like star trek, ...

How to paint glow in the dark plastic.
I have been thinking about getting this ship http://www.round2models.com/models/amt/ufo-mystery-ship But I am not sure how to paint it. I want the glow in the dark effect, but I really want to weather and age the ship. I know where I put paint and pigments will effect it, so I want to get the most g...

It is surprisingly not that bad at no letting cold/hot air back in the house. I used the other night and was about 20 degrees, I just shut the door to my hobby room and it really didn't affect the room temp that much. I left it running the whole time. I guess the fan sucked up the incoming air and b...

Would this blade work for scribing lines?
I got an A-wing off of E-bay and it had raised panel lines. I was wondering if this blade http://www.craftsetc.com/store/item.aspx?dep=25&cat=19&subcat=25&IsOnSale=0&IsFeatured=0&IsNew=0&ItemId=103660 for an Excato knife would work to scrib lines in the model. I have never sc...
