Somehow, over all these years, I have failed to comment on this build!

This takes the image from the cover & brings it to life! A great build! :bravo:

Welcome aboard, JIPI! I've been away (doing What If... stuff, rather than SF) & on my 2nd or 3rd visit back in a year or so, look what I find! Great stuff!:) I take it you have a "future history" in mind when you build most of these, because, with a few exceptions, t...

Magnets have been used for several builds posted/linked to on this site over the last year or so. At least one was a Ma.K Falke with a power lead but no tether, as such. The builder used positioning of the magnets to prevent movement. Unfortunately I can't remember where any of them are now... Sorry...

By the way, is that fluffy alien-hunter dead/stuffed/catatonic or merely mega-chilled out? :P

Thanks, Butters & Brian! I appreciate your compliments, very much. You may, also, have noticed some slight cracking in the weathering/dirtying from my use of Tamiya flat lacquer spray (I usually use Testors Dull-Cote but couldn't get any). A little back story re: this tank. The 68 tonne Centurio...

And here we are, folks, back at Battle Central! :P OK, the tank's finished! As you will see shortly, the base isn't. Depending on how it turns out I'll probably put a few shots of the completely completed diorama up here but it may take a while. Decals are taken from various sources, 1/144 F-16's (x...

That's not a problem, rallymodeller! Just thought I'd bring these over, too. Well? Is a tank the size of an Abrams sitting on a base roughly the size of a LCAC (about, what, 8 times the base area of the Abrams?) a practical vehicle? The PACV's massed about 7 tonnes operational with a base area of about 81m^2 [0.086t/m^2], an Abrams (for example) masses over 60 tonnes with a ...
