Re: Polishing cream
There is some rough areas on the plastic one side. The clear plastic has also yellowed. I've been coating it with a 6% peroxide cream and keeping it in the sun. It has reduced the yellow. I also used some Sensodyne toothpaste to help smooth it out... I think it helped. Still needs some TLC though.

Polishing cream
Hi Guys, can anyone recommend a polishing cream for clear plastic. I know that Future is used for the final application, but I have a little more work to do before I get there. I did a search in the forums and this was all I can find.... --------------------------------------------------------------...

Surely there must be a gravel or gold industry in BC that needs screens and mesh. I purchased some really fine wire screen from Western Wire here in Portland, Oregon. It was sold off the roll, four feet wide. http://thewesterngroup.com/about-us/ Western Canada / Vancouver 1750 Brigantine Drive Coqu...

Alternative to PE screen needed
Hello all, I need an alternative to Photo Etched screen, but just as fine. I'll need large amounts for a project that I started lately (link below left). If I purchased Photo Etch for this, it would destroy my bank account. I looked at coffee filters, but the screen is too fine. I also consider wind...

I made molds from scratched styrene pieces and it worked out well. I also use Lego to build a reservoir and place this on a small sheet of styrene and make my first pour.
My greatest purchase was a book by Shepard Payne,... How to build dioramas. It has a section in there for mold making and casting.

I've used CA on the star destroyer, it seemed fine. Maybe I'll test certain types of glue with the FO and see what happens. After all this time, the FO lights up . I'll post a pic of the CA bottle later today. Also, I'll power up the lights and see what the equator trench looks like. Anybody try Gor...

I have the Dremel Multipro with variable speed adjustment. I have this one mounted to the drill press accessory, and use it as a lathe for small details with a mandril bit. I chose an area on the part with no detail and it's the highest point in the mold so that the air bubble works it's way out, so it's easy enough to trim and sand down once the part has cured. I should let it be known, I ...
