The problem was solved in what best way I could - I used R4 to run the strobe. So you did not use the LM3909 N side of the board at all? Nope, she was dead as a doornail. Due to time constraints i had to make the quick fix and button her up. The build has been running behind and wouldnt handle a de...

Weird, I wasnt getting post nitifications.. The problem was solved in what best way I could - I used R4 to run the strobe. I ended up just doing the strobe behind the bridge, so it worked out fine. Due to time constraints the client preferred not to have to wait an extra month, so I went with the qu...

Cleanup is not difficult, I would recommend immersing the tip in water or thinner when it's not going to be immediately used to keep things from clogging up. Nice clean operation, paint flowed smoothly, it feels like a $200 brush. I used to have a badger professional 150, and I like this unit better...

The others have mentioned a lot that will help, but I have to ask, why 60 LED's??? You should only need 10 for lighting windows in the saucer, 4 for lighting the secondary hull windows, 2 for warp engine glow, 2 for impulse glow plus the blinker circuit. So only 18-20 why 60? cuz I'm a wild and cra...

Odd looking ship too, looks like someone welded on a TOS secondary hull to an NX-01 and called it a Refit. Just MHO.
