Re: 33 inch TOS Enterprise - Studio Scale Replica
How about a TAS Enterprise next? I'll have to look into that. I seem to recall that a lot of the TAS shots were tracings of TOS footage, but that the main side view was a unique variation of the Enterprise design. I'd been under the weather recently, so I couldn't work on any model stuff. What I co...

Re: 33 inch TOS Enterprise - Studio Scale Replica
I'll hunt through my image collection to see if there are any others I can photoshop. One of the problems I'm having is that the model is so big and I have so little room, it is hard to get back far enough to get the right angles... and even when I can, then my camera doesn't get a very good image. ...

Re: 33 inch TOS Enterprise - Studio Scale Replica
Nice phaser one models. Not many people know that when the phaser originally conceived Roddenberry proposed a pop up targeting display that was the grid. If you look closely at the episode, The Man Trap, you can see this when they fire their phasers. I guess the idea was dropped due to the props br...

Over the last few days I've constructed the nacelle support pylons. They are actually pretty strong (stronger than I thought they'd be), and can support the weight of either test nacelle.
