...I think this image which appears to be from the model shop of Return of the Jedi seems to clearly show a scaled color difference between a very large scale Tie and some very small ones. The large TIEs are in a dark neutral grey whereas the small standard TIEs are apparently white. https://i.pini...

Is the part meant to be clear enough to see through, like a window? Or just clear enough for light to pass through? If it's just clear enough for light it may be fixable, since the hazy frosted finish will hide the repair.
