Discoverys' Last Flight
These are a couple pics of Discovery loaded onto the plane that will take the ship to whatever future it has. I wish I had more pics but these are all I could get from the person who took them and graciously shared them with me once I told him that I wanted to share them with model enthusiasts for a...

Basic approach to weathering?
This AT-AT, (link below), is the first model I've ever tried to weather. I figured for ten bucks it would be a good test subject. It's the F-toys AT-AT. http://s939.photobucket.com/albums/ad232/Gabriel-RV/Star%20Wars/AT-AT/ I did this with just drybrushing neutral gray and sand gray. My basic questi...

Thanks photoguy, That's good that the lacquer will work over enamels, I can't get an enamel dullcote from any of my LHS's. I could order some and wait, but no. Photo guy wrote- Gloss Coat > Decals> Gloss Coat > Final Coat (dull cote or whatever) I wasn't planning on using an extra gloss coat over th...

Laquer dullcote over decals
Is it safe for decals to get a laquer dullcote over top?
The only exposed paint will be enamels. The kit will be mostly smothered with decals. (1:1000 refit enterprise)
Thanks!

Thank you Thomas, That makes good sense for clear parts. I've never used white glue on any of my models before, I've always just tried to use as little glue as posible for headlight lenses and the like. Again, thank you Mike and Thomas and SSM, I've got alot of catching up to do to achieve the level...

Elmers white glue tip question
Hello everyone, I'm curious about a tip I found in the tip of the day section on the home page. It concerns using regular old white glue (like elmers) as a filler. I'm currently working on the 18' Amt enterprise and like you may expect have encountered some problems. I sanded and prepped for almost ...
