Hey guys! I know the proper way to decal amd seal a model is using a glass amd then matt (or choice) clear spray. But... how would you do this if the paint job itself is a matt/glass pattern. Wouldn't putting an overall gloss and then a matt just negate the paneling detail done?

Hey Guys, need a tip here....

I have some surface-mount LED's that I'm trying to use and I need to glue them into place... problem is, gluing them into place and making sure they don't shift one bit. What would be a good glue to help? Ideally I'd like something virtually instant.

I've heard of people filling it with clear resin, but I'm not brave enough to do that. One other method I like better is to mask the exterior of the ship, and use clear glue (or white glue if you would like) and fill it in from inside; be sure to use some good leak proof tape and well seal the area ...

thank you guys! I went out bought something like a 320, 400, and 600 and its most definitely doing the trick! I think I was just using to low grit and to high grit to effectively do the job.

I found this article online... and I know little about grits and all (learning) but... shouldn't this be starting with 150 and working up to a 600??? or have a I missed something?

where could I find a small sanding block?

Oh wise experts... where do I fail? Steps: 1. lightblock interior 2. glue peices together 3. Prime 4. Notice gaps 5. fill gaps 6. Sand filler/glue seams using fine grit, then 3000 grit. 7. Paint 8. Notice scratches/uneven surfaces 9. attempt sanding/filling again again 10. fail again. Any help guys?...
