I ordered the Federation Flasher board and display pole from TrekModeler. I've used these on several builds and they work great. I bought the nacelle spinner boards from madman lighting. The spinner boards run at 12v and the flasher board runs at 9v. I'd like to use just one power adapter (12v) so I...

I bought this LED chaser circuit: http://www.amazon.com/Velleman-Mini-LED ... roduct_top
I replaced the included 3mm red LEDs with 5mm red LEDs. It fits perfectly beneath the shuttlebay, runs on 9V and works great.

Craig, To answer your question, yes this is a viable alternative. The Easy LED product is exactly that - very easy to use. It is simple to hook up the strip to a power source and not worry about using resistors or parallel vs serial connections. I bought a strip of blue lights to use in my Reliant b...

Got the TrekModeler kit as well - highly recommend it
I also bought the TrekModeler lighting kit and am in the process of installing it. Another thing you should consider when purchasing the kit - you also get great customer service from TrekModeler. I have received same-day responses to my emails which is much appreciated when your build is stalled be...
