Does anyone make half-square strip?
Does anyone make plastic half-square strip? I've checked Evergreen and Plastruct and can't find any. Basically it would be a triangle, but with two of the three angles at a 90 degree angle.
Warned you we did, but listen you did not! Now screwed we all will be!

Okay, that makes more sense.
I'm pretty sure Plastruct's MRT series is a right triangle (what you're looking for) even though it looks like an equilateral triangle in the picture in their catalog. You might call to confirm this, but I'm pretty sure it is. Even drawing the dimensions they give results in a triangle with a right-angle.

EDIT: Of course, they're giving one dimension in metric and the other in imperial, and they might be meaning it's the same length, in which case their conversion is off...

Tamiya does. The best I've found @ Evergreen is thier 1/4 round rod. Plastruct makes a 1/4 in gusset, but it's not a strip. Then you have the massive 3/4 inch rod from USPlastic.

A gusset... at least I have a term to search with. I'm looking for 1mm size, maybe a bit more or less, but that's a start. thanks!

Midwest/Raboesch Superstyrene centers used to have the triangles you
are trying to find. It would just be a matter of "size".
Midwest used to import the shapes from Raboesch...

So what is the Plastruct triangle stock then? Even looking at a picture of the actual product it's hard to tell. Is it a 60° triangle?

They look to me an equalateral triangle, equal sizes and the same angle. That's what I kept finding anywhere I looked between Plastruct and Evergreen.

Clarify?
