Well, I've mentioned this project in a couple of other threads, but I thought I might go ahead and show some progress on it.
I started building this as a "practice" build to try out a few new techniques, and polish others before I tackle my PL 1:350 Refit. Being fairly new to lighting, I have been building a few simple circuits to get some experience before I dive into the beast. Here is my AMT Defiant with all of the panel lines re-scribed, Arthur's decals (modified in Photoshop) a lot of airbrushing, and fiber optic lighting. This is the second time I have worked with this, and I'm pretty happy with it. Still more to do, But it's coming along.

No PICs or programming, just a couple of 555's wired up with tips and diagrams (and some assistance from my guru Dad) found here on the boards. Thanks for your help!

Hey, I started doing the same exact thing! Before starting my 350 PL Refit I thought it would be good to "warm up" on my USS Defiant that I have always wanted to create. Unfortunately I got caught up in trying to accurize it and found that it's pretty awful when compared to the filming model. I do have the impulse engines scratch built and tested with some nice red LEDs, and I have also tested the warp engine lights. I'll see about posting some pics to this thread. I would love to see your progess to keep us informed!

Can you link to the circuit you used?
