I was watching a modeling video on YouTube on the construction of a Macross fighter. The inside of the canopy was lightly sanded and a compound was rubbed on the inside. The video was in Japanese so can someone please explain this technique? Also what kind of compound can be used?
Thanks!
Compound on Clear Canopy?

We've probably seen the same video. A Rubbing Compound was used. Tamiya actually offers 4 grades. It works just like sandpaper. Any quality polishing compound (even toothpaste, to a degree) will work. You just need to get the surface smooth enough to restore transparency.
