Clear Frost Spray Paint As A Flat Finish?

I experimented with this on some painted scrap parts, and to my surprise, it actually works pretty good. It gave a completely dead flat finish with no sheen of any kind without really discoloring any of the paint on the test part. Anyone else try this?
