TAMIYA PUTTY White - Will it yellow over time

Will the Tamiya Putty white yellow over time ??? Will it cause white paint applied over the putty to yellow ??

Nothing that happens to the model itself will affect the paint, other than using incandescent bulbs, which would heat the model and make the paint bubble.

Tamiya white is lacquer based (if I remember correctly) and the cured lacquer that remains holding the "pigment" (fine powder) in place will yellow. However, as long as the putty is nice and cured before being painted over, it will not cause the paint applied over it to yellow. All of the lacquer based putties - Squadron white and green, Bondo in the tube, e.g. - shift to yellow (white yellows, Bondo rust red turns a little orange, and Squadron green turns a spring green) over time after they've dried, as they are lacquer-based.
