Canadian Source for Electronics?
'Radio Shack' in the US won't ship to Canada, and 'The Source' (the new name of Radio Shack Canada), is getting out of carrying many electronics items they used to carry when they were Radio Shack.
Example: Right now I'm looking for one of the wire wrapping tools that the MadMan Lighting kits require. 'The Source' doesn't carry it, and Radio Shack has it for about $5, but no shipping to Canada. Miniature push button on/off switches? Same situation.
So I'm curious... are there any Canadians out there who have other sources for electronics supplies?
Leif

I think the following is correct, but I'm doing this from home so my recollections may not be entirely right.
Mouser : Does ship into Canada. Free shipping on orders over $200 (or thereabouts), otherwise about $20.
Digikey : Ships to Canada for $8.
Newark : Has a Canadian presence. Shipping about $8.
Electrosonic : Also has a Canadian presence. Not as much inventory as the first 3, but has some product lines the others don't, like the inexpensive MODE line of switches and connectors.
I buy in quantities from all these guys, and they are all good. I don't know about minimum orders though. Their websites should say.

Thanks guys. Still no tool...
My folks went down to the US on vacation, so I asked them to pick me up one of those wire wrapping tools at a Radio Shack down there. They went into a San Diego Radio Shack store the other day. No wire wrapping tool in stock. So the salesperson did a search of Radio Shack store inventories in the area. Not a single one in stock at any of the stores close by. Ugh.
I see them on eBay, so maybe that's the way I'll have to go.

$30 bucks US from digikey covers 24-32 AWG wire. PM me if you need assistance getting it shipped to you.
Consider some of the air powered or electric wrapping guns if you will be doing production run boards, ebay does have some of those up right now.
The rat shack by me shows they have one in stock, will you be at Wonderfest? or know anyone going? Can do a hand off there if so.
