Best glue to use to glue neoprene rubber to painted metal?

Got a question about techniques, materials or other aspects of physically building a model? This is the place to ask.

Best glue to use to glue neoprene rubber to painted metal?

Post by No_6 »

Ideas? I bought a roll of sound-damping neoprene rubber and need to glue it to the inside of a metal case I'm customizing to use as a computer case. So I want to make sure there are no fumes or that the neoprene won't get disolved. Thanks!

I'd use 3M 90 spray adhesive. It's in a green can and you can get it at The Home Depot and most other places that carry that sort of thing. Since it's not going to be under stress you don't have to get too crazy.
