I'm a long time user and fan of 3M Acryl Blue. It applies nicely and can be polished to a glass smooth finish. I have a 3 pound tube that I have been using for the past 25 years. It's still good and still works.Wug wrote:Many people believe 3M's Acryl series of automotive putties are the best. Unfortunately they're only sold in big expensive tubes.
Great stuff.

I can't say it enough. This stuff is the best putty you'll ever use. It's epoxy, but it is extremely forgiving, nice and soft to work with, it thins with water and alcohol, and it has nearly the same hardness as styrene when it sets. I don't believe it has *any* bad qualities at all.

Not that that's a really bad thing, but it's not a good thing either, so ...
J/K! It's delish!
