Hey all.
I'm trying to strip paint from an old resin kit and was told that Cellulose Thinner was the answer.
I went to B&Q and when I asked for Cellulose Thinner they sold me a bottle of Hammerite Paint Thinner & Brush Cleaner for £9.98.
They said it was the same stuff but after soaking my kit in a bowl of the Hammerite for two hours not one flake came off.
So is Cellulose Thinner stronger then Hammerite or is it the same stuff.
If not will any Cellulose Thinner work or are there different strengths?
I need one that wont damage the resin.
Thanks all
Cellulose Thinner

Also known as lacquer thinner it's not something to soak in. Brush on, scrub off.
