Flattening a warped resin panel

So I have a resin model with large flat panels. Some are slightly warped. I have read that you can use a hair dryer to heat the resin and then push on it to reshape it.

Would it be prudent to heat the panel and then clamp it to a flat shape or tabletop to help it flatten? Or maybe between two panels? Place some weight on it?

Dipping the parts in nearly boiling water also does the trick and, in my experience, nearly always the part comes back to the right shape without further intervention.

If it still gives you trouble, though, yes, you can clamp, pressure, weigh it down onto a flat surface to get it flat once it's hot.

I usually find I have to over-compensate the warp so that when it bends back a little it comes back to flat. Hair dryer works best, bend then dip in cold running water quickly. Just be careful of the hair dryer being near water.
