Compressor Question

Post by Dr. Yo »

I've got a badger model 180-11 compressor with automatic shut-off, and
after one session this morning, its goone a bit strange on me. The
auto-shutoff function, which caused it to run intermittantly ( but effecitvely ) while spraying has ceased operating, and while there is some
pressure throught the hose, its very light, and not enough to push the paint. The only thing that I did out of the ordinary today was inadvertently leave setthe chair on the hose for a minute ( I was getting no air at all,
so I looked atound a little bit ) but after this is when the trouble started.)
could back pressure on the compressor from the blocked hose damaged it?

This is kind of important-I really don't want to think about replacing the thing right now. Its about 12-13 years old, btw.

Since it's a Badger product, you should contact them directly with your problem. Their customer support is outrageously good, and they will probably get you back up and running in no time!
