need Help to getting a great looking warp narcelle please

Could anyone give me a step by step guide to get a great looking warp narcelle for polar lights uss enterprise 1.350 scale.Using the Trek modeller lighting kit.....Really need the info on make and colour of paint to use to look similar to thye Trekmodeler pictures and also Helipilot on youtube.....also how to get those razor sharp grills that i have seen on You tube...My First effort not turned out well at all...any help would be much appreciated ...i am a bit of a novice as well...sorry....so really looking for a step by step process ....Looking at the Trekmodller pictures thay look fantastic ...mine are no where near..not even in the same galaxy..
I have got myself some frosted spray now....previously dull coated them
