It's suposed to be ok for most plastics and is a primer and paint in one.
Since it has a primer in it, would you fill seam on the bare model plastic and then apply the krylon?
Krylon Fusion - has anyone hear used it?

I've used it.
I decanted from the spray can to use in my airbrush, and thinned it about 50/50 with lacquer thinner.
It went on nicely, and I had no problems using Future overtop. I waited at least several days before applying the Future, so the key may be making sure it's cured before overcoating.
The model's a couple years old now, and the paint is stable.
Krylon Fusion also can be mixed with lacquer or alkyd paints with no ill effects.
(edit) a couple extras after going over my old notes:
I sprayed the Fusion over cheap hardware store primer, not directly on styrene.
Also, the first time I sprayed it, it was a bit gritty, but after using a fine screen filter in my airbrush it went on smooth.
