Need help finding rubber tubing

Post by No_6 »

I'm using this to create a nub for an airsoft gun. Here's what I need:

Tubing with an inner diameter of 1/4" and with a wall thickness of about 1/16" to 3/32"

Automotive vacuum tubing is just a little bit too stiff. Latex tubing is too soft. It needs to be pliable enough that you can squish it between two fingers, but it must be able to spring back to its original shape with little to no deformation.

The closest I've found is R/C Du Bros Neoprene fuel line, but at 3/32 ID, it is much too small.

I've found neoprene tubing online within the correct dimensions, but I have no idea whether it actually has the right properties since I can't touch it. Also, I don't need 100 feet of it. Just a few inches.

Any help appreciated!

IIRC neoprene tubing is gas permeable so it wouldn't work as an air line.

US Plastics is again your friend.

Not using it as an air line. :) Just going to be cutting it to place in the hop-up window.

Thanks for the link! I'll give them a shot.
