.........Rubber Cement! (I'm beginning to think it's UnObtanium......)
If ya don't know, this stuff is what we used to stick paper together in school, yahrens ago. It's semi-permanent, flexible, waterproof, etc...(I think Glue Sticks replaced this stuff)
It comes in a lightfast brown bottle, that contains a cap/brush combo, and micro particles of butyrate(I Think) rubber in an ......aromatic(NOT) solvent.
It drys up in the jar, over time.
Dumb kids would sniff this stuff (why I think I can't find it, now, but the same stores sell enamel spray cans...wtf??).
We ALL used it to make fake boogers, for laughs.
SO, I went to TWO stores, so far, here in Texas City, and I got some very weird results (made me feel FUTZY all over
One Clerk brought me 'silly putty', and then, 'wall spackle', 'cause he was young. At least he tried, Buckley!
The other stores Older Clerk thought it was for fixing rubber boots (like Monkey Grip adhesive for inner tubes)...
So far, NO Joy...gonna try Wally World, and HobbyLobby, but....
Any suggestions for temporarily sticking plastic images to the surface of a bathroom mirror (like bathtub daisies, sorta)?
TIA from the Rapidly Aging Modeler's Home.
