Babylon 5, Wing Commander Models (3D Printing)
Hi guys, I've been prototyping a number of things on Shapeways, specifically full color printing in their sandstone materials.

All models in the shop are at cost, so I'm not earning any markup. I'm just learning some 3d printing design techniques and sharing my work with the community.
Some examples are below.
Scales are around 1/250, everything is about 3-6 inches long.
Non color models are typically around 1/600 scale for gaming miniatures.
Hope you guys like them!

Why would one buy a "NEW" Multi_Million Dollar Management Information System that can't do processes that the old system did correctly?? Answer - Someone in Upper Level Administration got a "GIFT" (Unknown Author)

Hey they really look great! But I'm with Ramsayman - I'm not into minis and would like to see some of em in 1:72 - or at least a 6"length IMHO

I am all for that.Tankmodeler wrote:Why not make one as a pattern, eliminate the build lines, cast the puppy in resin and sell them for 1/4 of the price?
Selling parts/models directly from the 3D printer is not cost effective in the least unless the parts are very, very small.

So me, trying to be tolerant of everybody's situations, went to a feminist picnic. Things fell apart fairly quickly after nobody made any sandwiches.
